Dr. Alicia Henry and I are discussing the concept of collateral damage and how it relates to women. We question how many women can be considered acceptable collateral damage for one man’s actions or beliefs. We express gratitude for the opportunity to have this conversation and recognize the immense impact on these women. We then move on to discuss a specific case that has spurred disbelief and anger within us. It alternates between being hilarious and frustrating. We delve into our own experiences with feminism, how we got involved in online discussions, and our belief in human rights. We explain that our support for feminism and human rights led us to advocate for the rights of individuals across various orientations, including LGBT individuals.
